The Pictures; Part I

Bob's service was this past Saturday.  It was very unconventional and very much Bob.  I have had some interesting comments about the songs.  People have asked about the  pictures, so I decided I would give you a history of the 3 pictures that were at the front of the auditorium.

The picture above was taken at a butterfly garden in Branson, Missouri.  Bob rode his scooter in and we were ohhing and aweing over the butterflies, when this parrot swooped in and landed on Bob.  As Bob rode through the garden, the bird hung on.  A couple of times, the workers would come take the parrot and go to somewhere else.  Shortly, we would hear the flapping wings and he would be back.  I would estimate that we were there about an hour.  When we got ready to leave, the worker put his fingers under the birds feet and tried to lift him off of Bob, but the bird would climb right back on.  They finally had to take the bird to a whole other area so we could leave.

I think that Bob's expression is classic.  He enjoyed the butterflies, but he loved his passenger.
